Many consider Jack Daniel’s Silver Select to be their crowning achievement, as it is bottled at a higher strength (50 percent ABV / 100 US Proof) than the standard release.

This rare Tennessee whiskey, which was previously only sold internationally or in duty-free shops, is not only a Single Barrel brand, but it was also Jack Daniel’s highest proof whiskey for many years. The first generation bottle was produced from 1997 to 2010, before being replaced by the second generation Single Barrel bottle. Silver Select was phased out in 2015 and renamed Single Barrel 100 Proof in 2016.

This limited edition was released in 2013 as a Travel Retail Exclusive and bears the bottle code 15 01 13 / L – 2580.
