This limited edition WhistlePig 12-year-old Rye whiskey was finished in casks made up of 63% Madeira, 30% French Sauternes, and 7% Port. Bottled in 2015 for the Old World series, a collection inspired by the work of single malt Scotch whisky producers, and drawn from 12-year-old Canadian rye stocks (95 percent rye and 5 percent malted barley).
WhistlePig gets its whiskey from Alberta, Canada, where it is distilled and aged first. This whiskey is then transported to WhistlePig Farms in Vermont and bottled.
