The proportion of each grape variety used has traditionally been 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Meunier, and 28 to 33% Chardonnay. These figures vary slightly from year to year depending on the circumstances. Cellar Master Dominique Demarville must achieve the consistency that makes Yellow Label so instantly recognizable, so completely dependable in terms of quality, color, and fragrance. He will employ valuable reserve wines in the blend, ranging from 30 to 45%, to ensure the House’s style remains consistent. All wines are stored separately to maintain the distinct characteristics of their vineyard and/or vintage.

BLEND AND ORIGIN

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut

This signature champagne gains its structure from the predominant presence of pinot noir (50-55%), roundness from meunier (15-20%) and elegance from chardonnay (28-33%). The grapes are sourced from 50 to 60 crus, and the blend comprises 25-45% reserve wines that have been aged up to 15 years.
