Booker Kentucky Straight for Sale
Johannes Reginald Beam immigrated from Germany to the United States after the American Revolutionary War and finally settled in Kentucky County. Kentucky County was still considered part of Virginia at the time, and it was governed by a military governor called John J. Bowman. Beam began collecting corn after relocating in Kentucky, and he established a family tradition by distilling the excess grains he harvested into whiskey. Seven generations of the Beam family have been involved in whiskey production for the namesake company since then (the company is actually named after James Beam, who rescued it during Prohibition).
Booker Noe launched the first batch of his eponymous Booker’s Bourbon 30 years ago as his concept of what the ultimate whiskey should be. This bourbon pays homage to his legacy. While most batches of Booker’s are six to eight years old, this 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bourbon is a blend of uncut, unfiltered Kentucky straight bourbon whiskeys aged nine to sixteen years. Each box of Booker’s 30th Anniversary Bourbon is crafted from reclaimed wood from old rackhouse floorboards – the exact floors that legends Booker and Fred Noe trod on while selecting batches of Booker’s.
About Bourbon
There are not many things more American than bourbon, and although most of it is produced in Kentucky, it can be produced all over the USA.
It must be made with at least 51% corn and bottled at 40% ABV or higher. So why not give this American classic a try?
