Description
Booker’s 13 Year Old Rye Whiskey, 2016 Limited Edition
Booker’s is a Jim Beam subsidiary named after former master distiller Booker Noe. His son Fred is currently the master distiller and is noted as stating, “If you’re drinking Booker’s, you better be wearing your pajamas!” Jim Beam has two distilleries in Kentucky where they create their bourbon, but Booker’s is the only brand that is made entirely at one of them: the Boston Road factory, currently known as the Booker Noe distillery.
Booker’s, along with Baker’s, Knob Creek, and Basil Hayden, was introduced in 1992 as part of the Jim Beam Small Batch collection.
This limited, one-time release was made by Fred Noe, Jim Beam’s current Master Distiller. Fred is Booker’s son and the great grandson of “Jim Beam,” making him a seventh generation Beam family distiller.
