Description

Michter’s Sour Mash Celebration Whiskey is a blend of six rye and bourbon barrels ranging in age from over ten years old to 33 years old, making it some of the oldest American whiskey ever bottled!

Michter’s Celebration Whiskey was published in 2016 as the second installment in the Michter’s Celebration Whiskey series; the first and third installments were released in 2013 and 2019, respectively. Willie Pratt, Michter’s Master Distiller, retired after the release, and was succeeded by Pamela Heilmann, the first female master distiller in a Kentucky Distillers’ Association distillery since Prohibition ended.

Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash 2016 is one of just 256 individually numbered bottles that comes in a 116.8 proof (58.4 percent ABV) bottle.

Featured in Ian Buxton’s “101 Legendary Whiskies You’re Dying to Try But (Possibly) Never Will” book. Featuring a beautiful display case and a wax-sealed certificate of authenticity

Please note, there is a small cosmetic scratch on the rear of the outer packaging, the rest of the presentation and bottle are in pristine condition – see images inset for fine detail.
